Region 25’s Quartet Retreat is a not-to-be-missed event!  This year is no different.  Our guest faculty will be the multi-talented Kim Vaughn.  As a three time International Quartet Champion, Kim knows a thing or two about quartetting.  She is a Certified Sound Judge, Master Faculty, Master Director 700 – International Champion San Diego Chorus, Sweet Adelines Lifetime Achievement Award winner.  Kim has a Master of Arts in Vocal Pedagogy; she is a private voice teacher and coach of barbershop singers around the world.

Deadline:  Hotel reservation and quartet reservation deadline – January 10, 2020.  No deadline for observers, but January 17 goal is preferred.

When:  January 24-25, 2020.  Events start at 7:00 Friday evening, and the fun doesn’t end until Saturday evening.

Where:   DoubleTree Downtown Tulsa, OK.

Who:  Education is targeted toward quartets, but all singers will benefit from learning more about vocal skills and performance.  We welcome novice and experienced quartets, single singers who want to learn about barbershop, and anyone else who may want to be a part of this fun weekend.

How much:     Quartet registration – $200.

Observer or Harmony Roulette registration – $50.

Outside of region quartet – $275.

What happens: Great education including three classes by Master Faculty Kim Vaughn, quartet coaching (each quartet receives three coaching sessions.) Observers are welcome in all coaching sessions. In addition to fabulous education and quartet coaching, we will once again be holding the Harmony Roulette (separate registration required) – an all day singing opportunity for those who are not in a quartet!  On Saturday night, we sing and celebrate each other!
